The impact of the Internet on the perceived value of information is just as huge as anybody would ever think. Undoubtedly, Internet changed the way people learn and search for useful information. Before the arrival of the Internet culture, individuals who are looking for some valuable and useful information would be congregating themselves in classrooms, public libraries, bookstores, and magazine stands because these are the places where such information could be found.
However, it's been about ten years since the Internet became accessible to the public and the difference it made has been gigantic.
The impact is drastic enough that the Internet changed the typical procedure of searching for information that has existed since the civilization era. If you want to learn the life of Florence Nightingale, Christopher Columbus, or even the terrorism acts of Osama bin Laden, you do not need to take a class, read a book, or purchase newspapers everyday. You can Yahoo or Google these personalities, and if you are savvy enough, you will be able to find a website that is dedicated to the study of these personalities.
Through the Internet, such valuable and useful information is readily accessible. In addition, retrieval of information is free. You do not have to suffer purchasing Da Vinci Code for several dollars cheaper than what you would have to pay in a brick and mortar bookstore. The search and retrieval of the manuscript of the book is instantaneous (in short, instant!), no wasting of time, and definitely there is no need to spend for transportation.
In other words, searching and retrieving information on the Internet is cost-free, except the purchase of your personal computer (if you do not have any) and the Internet connection fee.
Almost every kind of information could be found on the Internet, historical accounts, answers to personal problems, and information about business opportunities. In other words, every online-based business opportunity related information can be accessed through the Internet.

However, unlike other information on the Internet, information related to Internet marketing are not entirely for free. In fact, there are marketing gurus who sell such information to Internet marketing neophytes.

Internet Marketing Consultant

Internet marketing is a lucrative business. There are many individuals who are earning substantial revenues by just selling their products or services over the Internet while at the same time endorsing the products or services of other Internet marketers. Revenues are flowing out of different outlets through affiliate programs, direct product selling, or offering Internet marketing-related services.
With several features such as round-the-clock operability, opportunity of widening clientele base, and low starting costs, it is not surprising that the Internet marketing industry is now full of mushroom businesses owned and operated by novices who are eager to share the wealth of this lucrative industry. However, in order to grab a slice of wealth offered by Internet marketing, you must bear the stiff competition over the market. In this stiff competition, Internet marketers who possess the knowledge and capability on this type of investment will win the game.
The rule of the Internet marketing game is simple: learn the rules and apply necessary marketing strategies in order to win the game. Though you have several websites that are easy to navigate and contain useful features such as complete inventory listings as well as shopping cart facilities, if it is unable to generate generous amount of traffic, your Internet marketing career will be a total failure.
To avoid reaching possible career failure, it is important that you seek the help of an Internet marketing consultant. One of their business objectives is to provide their clients the necessary strategies or possibly handle the situation by themselves in terms of generating web traffic to their clients sites. This can be done through various ways such as affiliate marketing programs, web page optimization, web content development, or pay per click advertising. Even though as an Internet marketer, you are familiar with the aforementioned marketing concepts, you need sufficient time and expertise to apply it to your Internet marketing business. To fill up the gap, an Internet marketing consultant has the capability of applying the necessary strategies to build essential web traffic that will result in increased sales and generated revenues.
In case you have the knowledge and technical expertise about Internet marketing, you may also consider the career of an Internet marketing consultant aside from being an Internet marketer. If you have the marketing background and such is proven to be effective for other Internet marketing business, you may serve as a consultant to other Internet marketers, especially the new ones.
To be a successful Internet marketing consultant, you need to conduct an "inventory" of your Internet marketing skills and knowledge. You start by figuring out your strengths and determine what particular areas of Internet marketing you are weak. From such information, you will be able to construct a plan that will help educate yourself and improve your weak points. Begin by working out in your weaknesses and consistently testing it to determine if you have improved or not. Once you have developed your skills and you feel that you can go on, you are now ready to embark the career of being an Internet marketing consultant.
Once you are now in the field, always prepare because you will deal with numerous clients of varying needs. You will be able to meet complete novices as well as seasoned veterans on the Internet marketing industry. If you have come across clients who knew nothing about the business and ask you to take charge, you will have to take them under your wing. As a consultant, it is your responsibility to provide your clients their needs, whether they are complete novices or marketing gurus.
Start your consultant career on one or two areas of expertise. You may specialize on search engine optimization, newsletter writing, and other Internet marketing strategies. Identify the niche which you are strong with and make sure that you are regularly updated about any developments on those particular areas of expertise. You may also try concentrating on "hot niches" by typing your question on major search engines and see what comes after.
Being an Internet marketing consultant has the responsibility he needs to bear on serving the marketing needs of his clients. However, it takes common sense, solid knowledge, and enjoyment on what you are doing in order to help other Internet marketers in the long run. If you think you have the edge over a certain aspect, you can always go to that consultant direction. All of these are really up to you to think about.

Targeted Internet Marketing
Author: Jeremiah Patton
Internet marketing is one of the most powerful and consistently-expanding industry presently, which has gained a lot of popularity these recent years. Thus, it resulted to thousands of business that prefer to endorse and sell their products and services through the Internet, aiming to learn, develop, and use the latest Internet marketing solutions.
The battle has shifted from another field, yet the concept of running an online-based business is still the same as of the traditional businesses. Marketing is still the most important aspect of running a business. It is evident on famous brands over the Internet that are spending huge amounts of money just to have the most elegant and eye-catching online advertisement. These huge brands realized that these online ads, just like the typical ads that they make in broadcast and print media, provide huge contributions to the increased marketability of their products and brand awareness.
Thus, it is not surprising to see different kinds and formats of online ads posted on different websites around the web. For online businesses and companies, the same concept still applies; especially since the competition in the Internet is now fiercer than before. To sustain competition, Internet marketing companies must have a definite and flexible marketing plan that is aimed not just on attracting more traffic to their websites, but also convert this traffic into increased sales.
They will achieve this through targeted Internet marketing or targeting potential clients who are in need of their products.
There are various targeted Internet marketing strategies that can be used to increase traffic to your website. However, getting more traffic to your website is useless if you cannot convert it into sales. Getting individuals who will not find any use of your products is good as saying that you are still "invisible" on the Internet. The objective of your targeted Internet marketing strategies is not just to get traffic you need to convert them into real money.
What are these targeted Internet marketing strategies? Take a look on the following items and follow the strategy that you think will work for your Internet marketing business advantage.
Identifying markets- you can concentrate your marketing efforts into the core market that has a use for your products. For instance, your online business is about children's toys. You can place online advertisements on websites that offer free pointers about children care.
Exchanging links- you can exchange links with other websites that are related to the products that you are offering. This can help you increase the visibility of your online business to individuals who need your products.
Article writing- you will just drive away your potential clients of they will just see images of your products, a brief description, and their tag price. You must provide initial information about your online business as a whole through writing articles. You can post these articles on sites that offer general pointers about a wide range of products. You can also submit it to article directories and have it republished in high-traffic websites. This will further increase your business visibility among clients who are looking for information about the products that they want to purchase.
Online forums and bulletin boards- getting involved in online forums and bulleting boards is a highly effective strategy, since you can encourage potential clients to visit your site if they are looking for advice and help on the products you are offering.
Getting noticed on the Internet is the best way of becoming successful in the Internet marketing industry. Moreover, anyone that you will convince to visit your site, as much as possible, must be transformed into your long-term product evangelizers. Traffic alone is insufficient to help you grow your online business and your bank account. It takes some courage to say to your clients that you "badly need them" and their "business with you is the lifeblood of your business". That is what targeted Internet marketing is all about getting as much clients that you need and patronize what you are offering for sale.
Internet marketing is a huge marketplace. But with right-targeted marketing strategies, you will see how great and easy it is to earn money on the Internet.

Jekyll and Hyde of Network Marketing
Author: RavingRich
Everyone wants to get rich quick and most think the easiest way to do it is through a marketing network, or multi level marketing. These people are confused with the pyramid schemes, however. Pyramid schemes wind you up to thinking that you can make upwards of about ten thousand dollars a month within three months. These are the schemes where you hardly see any profit and you never know what your product is, because a lot of times there is not one. Unfortunately, because of this falsity, network marketing has gotten a nasty reputation due to the fact that they are somewhat similar in nature. Honestly, the only thing that makes the two alike is the fact that they are both networks. Network marketing is begun with an idea, a product, and the person who began said idea gets a few friends involved and they help sell the product then they get friends involved and so on and so forth until the product itself is so big and popular that everyone makes money off of it. This is not a project that will make people millionaires in an instant, but it is great for supplemental income.
In all actuality, marketing networks are along the same lines of franchises which also got a bad reputation in the fifties when they first came around. Look at all the hamburger joints around today, though. Actually, the make up that is being sold by the ladies who drive a pink Cadillac work for network markets. The parties that are held for plastic storage containers that everyone tends to use are part of network markets. Believe it or not, those cute little girls in green who sell you cookies each fall are also part of network markets. That is right; fundraising is a major player in the network market system. When an organization signs up with the company to sell their products in order to make a small profit for them, they become part of the network. The company that is providing the products just hikes up the prices and they in turn make a small profit after donating a portion of the proceeds.
Network markets are widely spread – throughout all fifty states and over one hundred countries. Some new businesses appeal to people because they are able to work from home, work part time, and choose the hours that they want. Be wary of those that advertise pay is higher for recruitment than for the sale of the product itself; you would never make any money. Some network markets have even been compared to cults since many have intense motivational programs. One way to see if the company is legit is to check its seventy percent rule: the company must sell that much of their existing inventory before ordering more. The main thing to remember is that network marketing is about the product, not just its sale and the employees’ profits. Check with the better business bureau and FTC before you invest time and money.

What is an MLM Program?
Author: RavingRich
Many people do not understand what an mlm is so we will take a quick look at what exactly an mlm is and how it can be a beneficial to you to run one.
Simply put an mlm is a multi level marketing business that is often used to draw people in to sales. Many franchises like to use multi level marketing to do sales of things like; beauty products, vitamins, books, or any other item that is generally well accepted and wanted or needed. A traditional mlm also offers the opportunity to sell the company to other people as well. This means that you will sell products as well as recruit others in to sell products. This is often called your downline and you will make money off of what your downline sells. The people above you are often referred to as your upline and they make money on what you sell as well as on what your downline sells. In most mlm programs you can have a downline of up to seven, sometimes more, that you can receive payment from.
While all of that sounds really great many people are concerned that mlm’s are illegal. This is often because it is hard to determine a legitimate business over something like a pyramid scheme. One sure way to know if the multi level marketing is a legitimate business or not, is to understand that a business will not pay you only for new recruits. A pyramid scheme is one that often sounds very much like a multi level marketing business only they do not sell anything, or they sell very little and require you to buy more products then you can sell. Most pyramid schemes also can require you to bring in a certain amount of recruits before you can be paid. Another give away to pyramid schemes is that many times you will be required to pay for all your own training or marketing materials. Pyramid schemes are illegal in almost every country.
There are several types of multi level marketing plans. A few of the more well known plans are: Unilevel, Matrix, and Binary. The unilevel plan is the plan where you have managers and then everyone else below them. There is often a multi level payment plan involved in these where the more money you pay for this business the higher you are in the company. This means you make more money on sales as well as more money on your downline. The matrix plan involves sharing your recruits with others who did not sponsor them into the program. The binary plans require you to get paid in cycles. This means that you will only get paid when you get the required amount of sales required.
When choosing an mlm you want to be very careful, it is often thought that most mlm’s are designed to make the company money and making the distributor fail. This often occurs because multi level marketing companies require you to continue to recruit other people to join the company while over saturating the market with the product line.

Finding Quality MLM Leads
Author: RavingRich
The internet is full of advertising agencies that offer quality MLM leads. While all will state that their leads are quality there are three tips you can use to help you choose a true quality MLM lead.
No Manipulation
An MLM lead is likely to be quality if there are no bribes, incentives or attachments to the lead. A lead is likely not worth it if you have to do something other than purchase the lead.
Never Oversold
Price gouging in lead offers develop when companies charge whatever they see fit for leads. See whether or not the company offering the leads states that they are not oversold. And never shy away from taking the time to compare prices.
No Bad Leads
Check for a no bad lead statement from the company. It the company doesn’t promise no bad leads then you may want to look elsewhere for your MLM leads.
Lead Information
When you are looking for a quality lead keep these three statements in mind. It is also a good idea to look and see what the company’s leads include. The best leads will include the following information: name, address, email, phone, home business desire, interest level, hours able to invest, amount of capital investment, best time to contact, time zone and date and time stamp. This information allows you to check how serious your lead is and whether or not it is worth pursuing.
Where To Start
When you are looking for MLM leads you want a quality lead that provides a solid area for prospecting, recruiting and sponsoring needs. Before pursuing an MLM lead you need to familiarize yourself with the product. This will allow you to be more confident and better able to receive a quality lead. You can always create you own if there are no quality leads that fit within your budget. The best place to begin is with family, friends and acquaintances. You will come off in a confident and interesting manner provided you fully understand and believe in the product you are offering. For the beginner lead generation isn’t always easy and it can be difficult for a pro. Just remember to stick with it, be patient and don’t give up.
Lead Types
If the company offers several types of leads it is also helpful. You should find a lead list that includes area code leads, local leads, Canadian leads, email auto responder leads and telephone interview leads. Make sure you leads are ones that will be receptive to your calls and being able to choose your lead type is helpful. Your conversation will flow smoothly and end with the best possible results as long as you choose a lead that you are comfortable in making contact with.
How Are The Leads Generated
Another helpful part of finding a quality MLM lead is when a company takes the time to list where their leads come from. You can find leads that are generated by lead producing websites, company solo emails, newsletters, advertising networks, radio advertising and more. There are more leads available to you with the larger size of the list. Just because you have quantity doesn’t mean you have quality, but you will be able to choose and be more particular about what you are looking for.
These tips and hints are a helpful guide to help you find quality leads that can make your business grow and succeed.
What To Include In Network Training
In order to make sure that new people entering the business understand the expectations as well as how they meet those expectations every business models need training. Most of the time people who join a multi level marketing program are trained by the upline, or the people who recruited them into the program and sometimes by those much higher on the upline.
Training should focus its goal on information about the product or service that will be sold along with how best to present the product and the company in order to make potential customers feel more comfortable when it comes to buying from you. Training can also teach new members how they can recruit others into their own downline, but recruiting should never be the main focus of the training.
At the end of a training call, no matter how energized you fell or how positive you feel about the company you should always take a few minutes to calm down and ask yourself what you specifically learned during the training session. Training is often conducted through individual phone calls or conference calls with others on the same level. Some companies make the mistake of confusing a training call with a pep rally by having people get on the call and discuss how much money they made in the previous month.
These training sessions are the motivator that is often needed to get fence-sitters onto the company’s side and start to recruit new people and make additional sales. However, you probably won’t be able to sell any better or know more about the product if all you know at the end of the training call is the income level of several people high in the organization. Recruiting efforts should focus on more than how much money one of the founders of the company has made.
The training will be beneficial to your future if at the end of training you know more about the product and what new products will later be coming in the future. Knowing how to sell the idea of joining the multi level marketing program to people on the cold list may be beneficial. The call has done nothing but work to isolate people from those they know if it only focuses on browbeating or demeaning friends and family because they don’t recognize what a good thing you have found.
You likely won’t have to learn how to fill out forms and they usually don’t include teaching you how to file quarterly tax returns since most of the ordering, payments and shipping of products in a multi level marketing program are handled by the main organization. Training should focus its scope on selling the product, selling the company and how to be nice to the customers while doing it. Time should also be devoted to questions from the new recruits and presenting honest answers, and as long as it is an honest representation of the opportunity it will be the right answer even if you are reading straight from a company handbook.

Have Adwords Sent You Broke?
Author: Kevin Sinclair
If you have an online business and you actively attempt to market it, then you probably know about Google AdWords. In fact, you may have heard the success stories but chances are you have also heard about or personally discovered the risks. If you don't properly understand how AdWords works, you can lose a lot of money from an AdWords campaign.
Google penalizes low click-through rates with high costs so it is important to make sure your ads are relevant to your target audience in order to maximize click-throughs.
By simply doing your initial research to target your ads and being willing to change them to increase your click-through rates, you can avoid high charges such as $5 or $10 per click.
Here are some steps you can take to use AdWords successfully:
1. Design an internet marketing campaign that matches highly focused and similar keywords.
For example, if you are selling organic dog food, you may consider bidding on a keyword like "pet supplies" but Google considers this a general term and not specific or relevant enough. People who are looking for organic dog food will probably not search for "pet supplies."
If someone has decided that they want to feed their dog organic dog food, then they already know what they want. By specifically targeting your advertisement to this person, you will gain higher conversion rates.
The best way to bid on keywords for Google's AdWords is to bid on phrases that are similar but not the same. For example, "organic dog food," "natural dog food," and "preservative free dog food" are relevant keywords which contain the common phrase "dog food." If you organize your different keyword groups to contain a common phrase and make the differences relevant you will experience a higher conversion rate.
2. Include your keywords in the body of your advertisement not just the headline.
It is very important to write your keyword as naturally as possible into the body of your advertising text. This is the way to drive targeted traffic to your site. However, you not only benefit by the traffic itself, you will also benefit by much lower advertising costs.
Google will reward you by simultaneously raising your position and lowering your costs. Your ad will be shown more often because it will directly meet the needs of Google searchers.
Remember, relevancy is the key to AdWords success.
3. Your keyword should appear in your headline, text and your link.
When you do a keyword search on Google, the results pages list web pages and advertisements that contain that particular keyword. The keyword can be in the metatags, the website link, headline or text and will be highlighted to be more visible to searchers.
This creates a win-win situation. Not only do Google's users benefit, Google profits because their reputation is enhanced and you benefit from high quality targeted traffic. Hopefully, this traffic will convert to subscribers and sales and therefore money in your pocket.
4. Design a separate landing page for each keyword you are bidding on.
Creating highly focused landing pages for each keyword is another way to improve your relevancy score with Google.
The keywords you use in your AdWord ads should also be included in your landing page headlines and text so that it is obvious to people clicking on your ad that your content is closely related to your advertisement.
For example, say you search for "organic dog food" and you see a Google ad with the heading "best organic dog food." This matches your search closely so you click on the advertisement and visit the website.
The first thing you notice on the site is the headline: "How to Choose the Best Organic Dog Food." This article clearly has information that you are looking for, so you read the article and stay on the site. You will therefore be more predisposed to click on other links within the site for further information.
By creating complementary web pages and advertisements that use targeted and relevant keywords, you will gain the most benefit from your Google AdWords campaign for the lowest possible price.

Affiliate Marketing vs. Article Marketing
Affiliate Marketing vs. Article Marketing: Can They Be Combined OR Are They Best Kept Separate?
Author: Hilal Sabur
Affiliate marketing is a fun and easy way to earn money online. As a matter of fact, it is one of the easiest ways if you know what you are doing. Almost all affiliate programs are free to join. They normally come with a sales page already set up for you to draw traffic to, and the web address always has some kind of code in it that gives the affiliate some identity. This coded address is called your affiliate link, and is used to promote on the internet.
The formula is simple: the more promotion you give your affiliate link, the more traffic you generate, and the more profits you see. Affiliates get a portion of the profits of each product sold through his affiliate link. Some may think this is unfair, especially if they are doing the work to promote the site, but there is no limit to how many affiliate programs one can work under.
In actuality, the affiliates have the easy part. The affiliate owner is the one that has to keep the maintenance up on the site and deal with the possible refunds of revenue. With that said, it can be possible for an affiliate marketer to earn more money online than an owner, depending on the quality and popularity of an affiliate program for an owner, and how many programs an affiliate marketer is marketing.
Article marketing is the marketing technique of using articles to sell products, and is usually done online. It is free, and can be fun as well. These articles are posted in e-zines and blogs across the internet, as well as a few other mediums where information is wanted. It is disputed to be the best form of marketing because of its "pre-selling" nature. However, article marketing is only popular to those who choose to spend time instead of money.
With the brief descriptions of these particular marketing techniques, it is safe to conclude that they can be combined and prove to be very profitable. You may have even came across some affiliate programs that have, what I like to call, "pre-written" articles in their marketing toolboxes for their affiliates to use. If done properly, article marketing can allow an affiliate program yield more profits for an affiliate than a PPC program. This is gauged by the fact that articles can be found in more places on the internet than ads in a search engine. As I mentioned earlier, articles are free to post, ads are not.
One article per affiliate program, depending on the commission earned, can potentially create a 4+ figure income monthly, if done correctly. Most affiliate marketers are affiliated with an average of ten programs. Pardon my opinion, but I would say they were the perfect match.

Web Copy – the Importance of Correct Use of Language
Author: Chris A Watkins
A recent freelance project informed potential bidders - "... I don't need creative. I write web pages and articles but my spelling and grammar are atrocious. I need an editor who will work with me on a page by page basis..."
Full marks for effort here. High marks too for confidence. The writer is very much into the - I-believe-therefore-I-can - method of self image boosting. It's a ten to one bet he repeats a mantra every morning before rising. Repeating "I can, I will, I can I will..." five hundred times, just as all the best self improvement manuals say.
Or does he? Let's not forget - this guy is successfully selling his work.
Does Creative Writing need Good Language Skills?
What is puzzling is HOW he can do creative writing when he doesn't have a grip on the basic rules of language?
Don't misunderstand this. It can be done. You only have to read the opening pages of the novels on the bestseller shelf of the local bookstore to appreciate that it can be done and is done. What is elusive - is how?
The Importance of Marketing Instinct.
This is marketing, right? Every word counts in marketing copy. How do you know which words to use if you have no grasp of grammar?
Do you use instinct? Voodoo? White magic?
Unless you're a firm believer in the magic arts you have to conclude that it must be instinct. An innate sense of what to say and when to say it. A talent for using words that will press buttons to inspire in the reader a want to buy.
This being the case, we have to award even higher marks to the guy who posted the freelance project. Not only does he give his talent free rein, he also recognizes that he has a weakness and seeks to overcome it.
What does this all say to the average business person who wants to commission web copy or business promotional articles?
High Class Presentation is Still Required.
Quite simply marketing copy should be as near perfect for its purpose as it can be. Not only does it need to press the 'must buy' buttons, it must also be beyond reproach in its delivery. Spelling, punctuation and sentence structure errors have a negative impact, giving the potential buyer a reason to doubt and back away from the purchase.
At ffox we deliver articles and web content specifically designed to penetrate your market.

Proven Marketing Systems are the Way to Way
Author: Michael Burton
Operating an online business is something that many people dream of doing. In fact, there are many people that regularly search the Internet for information on how they can start up their own online business and began working for themselves. The problem with doing this is that many of them fall into a trap of jumping from one system to the next and never really seeing anything through to fruition. It is always a much better idea to choose one particular system that has been proven to work in the past and to stick with it for the long run. How can you make sure, however, that you are working with the correct system from the start?
There certainly is not a shortage of people on the Internet that are willing to take your money, even if you are going to get nothing in return. You need to be able to separate the wheat from the chaff, so to speak, and to find a system that is going to work for you as long as you work for it in return. In doing so you will be able to guarantee your success instead of just jumping from one system to another. Here is how to identify the system that works best for you.
The first thing that you need to do is find a system that is totally turnkey. Not only will this help you to be able to operate your business on a limited amount of time, it will show you how the various parts of an online business work. Some of the things that must be in place before you should even consider going into this particular type of business are a constant stream of online visitors, a solid marketing approach that is proven to work and plenty of guidance to help you to understand how it all fits together. This will help you to be able to be successful with this system and to see how you can use it for any other Internet business that you may start.
Another thing that you should be concerned about is the type of leaders that you have in this marketing system. For example, it is not a difficult thing to do a little bit of research and see what other people are saying about the leaders in your marketing system. Some people have set up these turnkey operations in a way that will benefit themselves but not really anybody that joins underneath them. You want to make sure that you are part of a team that is going to operate for the benefit of everyone involved. Make sure that you do your research ahead of time so that you know that you are truly following the leaders.
Even though it may take some diligence on your part, getting started with the proper turnkey marketing system will help you to be successful from the start. Not only can you find your success with this particular system, it will help to guide you through all the various aspects of Internet marketing and show you how you can apply them to any other Internet business that you may be involved in.

Profit Lance-3 Steps to Make Money With Affiliate Marketing
Author: Ashley McAllister
Are you interested in giving your boss a kick in the butt and saying “I Quit!”? Well, if you are and are going to be in need of a new job I think I will be able to help you out with that. There are many people online today that are making a full time income with affiliate marketing. In fact, these people that are involved in this field are making even more then some doctors and lawyers are.
For those of you that have never heard about affiliate marketing, it is a product that you can sell to make a commission off of. The product is created by someone else and you have the right to sell these products by the owner and you will be paid for it. Most of the time the affiliate products are digitally delivered so you will never have to worry about getting a product out to a customer and you will never have to deal with the sale. All you have to do is send the customers to the owner’s sales page and that’s it.
Today, I am going to over a few tips that I would like to share with you so that you can get started in this field immediately. Hopefully after you are done reading this article you will be able to learn something new and go on with starting up this business.
Here are the tips now:
1. Sign Up with Affiliate Site
You should sign up with an affiliate site to start off instead of signing up with a few independent affiliate products. The reason for this is that an affiliate site has a whole database of products that you can sell and all of the sales you make will be calculated and tracked through the site which means one paycheck! The sites that are free that I recommend you sign up with are Clickbank or Commission Junction.
2. Choosing a Product
You should now choose a product you would like to promote. You should find a product that you can easily place in a niche that you know and can talk about. When you find a product that you feel you can back up then you are now ready to move onto the next step.
3. Create A Website/Blog
Next you can create a website if you know how or create a free blog. You are then going to need to add some content on the relevant niche for your product and then leave some affiliate links in your blog. Now you are ready to start promoting your blog to make some money off of it!

7 Incredible Ways to Sell Your Products Now
Author: Mervyn Love
First Principles. You should realise that your prospects do not buy from you based on how snazzy your website is or how brilliant your graphics are. They buy because you can convince them that THERE'S SOMETHING IN IT FOR THEM! Show them how their lives will be enhanced, how much better they will feel or how their bank balance will benefit by investing in your product. Prospective customers can be wooed at the two most basic of levels: Money or Emotion.
1. On your website or in your newsletter, paint a picture of your product so vivid and desirable that the reader can actually visualize what it would be like if they had already bought the product in your ad. Tell them what results they have achieved and how it makes them feel. They'll become emotionally attached even before they hit the 'Buy Now' button or the link to the affiliate product.
2. Once you've got an ad that you like, turn it into an article. This is not difficult. You could tweak it into a how-to article, or you could turn it into a story. People love stories. Intrigue them with your 'how-to', or appeal to their emotions with an exciting story and this will lead them into your ad without them hardly realising it is an ad. By the time they get to the sales page they'll have their credit cards ready.
3. We all like to think we are getting something for nothing. Appeal to the money instinct by showing your reader that they are getting a bargain. Tell them the usual price you sell your product for is $79. Then tell them if they order today they can buy it for $49.95. This tactic is not new, of course, but the amazing thing is it still works!
4. Consider who your target prospects are. Who are they and what do they want? Now direct your headline to this specific target audience. This uses the emotional appeal to your readers so that they feel important and belong to a select group of people who buy your product. For example; "Attention! Dog Lovers! Finding it difficult to train your dog? Customers who have used our 10-part email course..."
5. Make a point of telling your reader how fast they can receive your product or service. Appeal to the emotion of 'I want it now!' and you will pull in sales in preference to your competitors if you can promise speedy delivery. Their buying decision may be based on how fast they can receive your product. With downloadable products like ebooks and software, delivery is, of course, fairly instant, but - say it anyway!
6. Bullet points are extremely effective at highlighting benefits. Benefits are the key to selling anything. As we said earlier the customer wants to know what's in it for them. Make your benefits standout in your ad. by the careful use of bulleted lists. You can use dots, dashes, or circles to highlight them.
7. Remember earlier we talked about turning your ad copy into an article? This idea applies equally to both ad copy or articles. What you do is make sure you are giving your website visitor useful information. Give them a few tips to help them with their problem. Then suggest that the product will many more useful useful, profitable, life enhancing information. You will benefit enormously from the respect and trust of your readers.
I hope you have benefited from these tips and tactics, and I wish you great success in your online ventures.

8 Ways to Take Your Small Business to the Next Level
Author: Katrina Sawa
Now that you have built a successful business, you have an established customer base and you are fairly well known in your geographical area, your industry or both, what do you do to stay ahead of your competition? You might want to consider the following tips to help you to expand your business and take it to the next level.
The following are 8 tips to help you increase the size of your business and take it to the next level.
1. Open another location.
Either open another location or move into an office space if you are currently working from a home office. This may not be the best choice for expansion; however, it is the first thing business owners often do. If you are thinking of doing this, be sure you are maintaining a consistent bottom-line profit and that you have shown steady growth over the past few years. You also want to ensure your infrastructure, staff and your systems can accommodate the growth. Finally, research the demand of taking this next step and how it will affect your decision.
2. Expand your product or service lines to compliment the ones you currently have.
This will allow you to offer more selection and it makes your products and services more appealing to your customer base. However, first, you need to conduct market research to determine which products and/or services are in demand, which would be profitable for you, and which would be affordable to your customers.
3. Find ways to increase repeat business for your current customers.
This is a lot less expensive than locating new customers. Initiate reorder cards that you can send out to remind customers to reorder products and/or services when you want them to, not just when they remember to do so. Contact them more often with a monthly or bi-monthly newsletter via email or mail to ensure the customer is keeping you on the top of their minds for additional sales.
Consider developing volume sales discounts, monthly rates, or other discounts to entice them to purchase more at a time or for a longer period of time than instead of just a single sale. If you can, try to get your customer to contract with your business, if your business is set up to do so.
4. Update your Website or develop a new one if you do not have one.
Be sure to add monthly specials, discounts and/or promotions on your site - especially on the home page to attract attention. Ensure individuals/businesses visiting your site sign up in order to qualify to win a drawing or receive a discount, so that you can add them to your database. You can also add products and/or services to sell online. If done correctly, this adds sales and reduces the time necessary to locate these sales. These are typically bonus sales above and beyond anything you would normally sell since they are from a different 'group' of people.
5. Target other markets.
Only do this if you have already saturated your primary target market. For example, if you sell to teens, consider beginning marketing your product and/or service to college students.
6. Turn your business into a franchise or franchise opportunity.
You will need to ensure you have developed all your operating systems needed in order to make your business a smooth-running machine first, however. You can network within the franchise industry.
7. Add a partner or merge with another existing complimentary business.
With the right agreement and business plan, taking this step can be beneficial to both parties involved. Be sure to hire a reputable attorney to review all the paperwork and look out for your best interests.
8. Go global.
Find alternate ways to market yourself globally if you do not already do so. Consider ways to tweak your business in order to offer your business and/or services to consumers outside your current area. Have you considered teleseminars, Webinars, shopping cart Websites, or search engines?

Can Creating Experiences Improve Internet Marketing Results?
Author: Jimsun Lui
Experiential Marketing uses brand relevant experiences to appeal to both the rational and emotional buying triggers of the intended audience. Sometimes, it is also termed as customer experience marketing because the idea is to communicate the essence of the Brand through a personalised experience.
Experiential marketing deals with customer experiences and is quite different from traditional forms of marketing, which focus on functional features and benefits of products. Consumers’ decisions are much more influenced by emotionally generated feelings than by their rationally derived thought.
According to Luminous (http://www.luminous-asia.com), an experiential marketing firm, the idea of experiential marketing reflects a right brain bias because it is about fulfilling consumers’ aspirations to experience comfortable and pleasure feelings and helps consumers’ to feel the benefits through interactive experiences, and creates an emotional desire to purchase.
According to a study by HPI Research Group, 68% of surveyed marketing executives spent more on experiential marketing in 2005 than in 2004 and half of those executives expect to increase spending in 2006.
Microsoft’s multi-venue Tablet PC promotional event is a good example of “experiences”. Tthe event resulted in 125,000 product demonstrations in high-traffic airport terminals in major hub airports across the country. In the airports, corporate executives and managers can experience the mobility and benefits of the product. It also shows the commitment of Microsoft in providing execllent mobile product. The event helps to create personally relevant, memorable, interactive and emotional experience. Likely, those particitioners will consider Microsoft’s products if they need a PC with high mobility.
Can we create experiences in a website and brings Internet marketing to next level?
Internet marketers spend lots of money in internet marketing activities such as search engine marketing and email marketing, however, business conversion is not as good as their expectation. When you look at many websites, they are usually present a lot of text to show you the product features, its’ functional benefits, their strong company background, and etc. From marketing point of view, these websites reflects a left brain bias because they seek to persuade consumers by invoking rational factors that their products are better than their competitors. When people are very calm, and are trying to be very rational, they may spend more time in searching for information, and perform product comparison. Likely, they may simply leave your website without taking any action and go to do more research. Eventually, they may finalize their decision and buy the same products from the website they last visited.
To rectify the situation, companies may consider creating experiences in your website so that consumers emotionally want to buy your product and buy from you.
What kind of experineces you should create for improving business conversion? Companies may consider to create experiences allowing consumers to feel how the product can simplfy their life through carefully planned scenarios, or to imagine the joy and satisfaction they can get after owing the product. In addition, you must also demonstrate your commitment to consumers and the meaning of your brand so that consumers are eager to buy from you.
With advance of technology such as net meeting, flash, 3D technology, and etc, it is not difficult to create online experiences. However, experiences must be carefully planned so that it can stimulate the emotional desire in your targeted customers.
The planning and execution includes careful research on the targeted customers, determine what kind of experiences is appropriate, the method to capture sales leads and perform follow-up. All activities must be used to reinforce consumers’ emotional desire and meaning of your brand. Apple Inc. is very successful in creating experiences to their consumers and these experiences help building a strong brand name for Apple. Many consumers want to buy iphones and iPods because they are products of Apple. Yes, you can say it is all about emotions and branding!

Internet Marketing is a tough job. Intellectual Marketing is that Art by whch we use our intellect to generate traffic.
Creating a website or blog is not enough. Your sites and blogs should achieve visibility on the search engines. Then only will people come to your site. Remember a blog or a site without traffic is zero. It is traffic which makes a site great. Yahoo, Google or MSN get tremendous traffic ( above 1 miilion hits a day ) and that is why they are ranked high.
There are many methods of attracting traffic. You have to submit your blogs, feeds, urls, articles etc to the respective directories. Then only will they achieve visibility on the search engines.
Talking and writing about generating traffic is easy. It is difficult to get a lot of traffic. One has to do Intellectual Marketing religiously. I put in 10 hours of Web Marketing every day. Otherwise my blogs and sites will be devoid of traffic !
After you have created your blogs, you have to submit them to the blog directories
Submit Your Blogs
This is blog submission web page I use to submit my 28 blogs
http://www.eastrovedica.com/html/blogsubmissioncenters.asp
Submit Your Feeds
The xml feeds of your sites and blogs should be submitted to the feed directories.

http://www.eastrovedica.com/html/articlesubmissioncenters.htm
Ping your blogs
You can submit your feeds using Pingoat ( www.pingoat.com ) or Pingomatic www.pingomatic.com
Create Squidoo Pages
Squidoo is heavily trafficked and I created 27 lenses on Squidoo. Each Squidoo page is a url and they should be submitted to the Search Engines. Once submitted they will be visible on the Search Engines. Once they are visible, you will get traffic to your Squidoo Page.
From your Squidoo page you should give links to your blogs and sites. That way you will get fairly good traffic.
Use Social Bookmarking
To get traffic, you can submit your pages to Social Bookmarking services like Digg, Technorati etc. These social bookmarking sites get around 1 million bookmarks a day. The web or blog page which you bookmark becomes visible and people read and click and lo ! you have got traffic.
I use the Social Bookmarking Button of AddThis ( www.addthis.com ). It submits to over 16 Social Bookmarking Sites.

The Marketing Mojo of Well Written Articles
Author: Cynthia Mosher
If you think it's easy to get a visitor to search for your website, find it, read it (meticulously) and bookmark it, well - you're deluded. The majority of web hits these days (they don't call it visits anymore) occur through search engine crawlers - leaving alone the ones that are referred from somewhere else (usually costs money) or if your friends and family trying their best to promote you through chain mail.
The question is - how do you get the attention of the search engines? Well of the several methods purported to work well, putting up small, snappy articles crafted specifically for the search engines using Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques is the most cost-effective and intuitively simple way to do so. Needless to say, your website must convey the impression to the reader that they are actually getting something they need or enjoy out of their time visiting you (an important principle for first dates too)!
SEO "crawlers" can be a website's best friend, or worst enemy. If your business site contains irrelevant content or hard to digest information, then no matter how well you have optimized your key words for the search engines, your page ranking will drop faster than it rises. After all, its humans who read it, not machines. SEO must go had in hand with good, well-structured content. If you do not write well it is essential that you learn to do so or hire someone to write for you. When the crawler comes across the keywords in the content, and brings up your site, the content on that particular page must be related to the keywords you have filled it with.
For good keyword optimization, one of the tools to consider here is "keyword density." This is helpful to have the main keywords show up enough times to be catch a crawler's attention, but low enough to maintain readability: not to read like ''The Eagles of California have seen a sharp rise in their California Eagles fan base, despite the fact that eagles in recent years have become fewer around California" (real-life now defunct example, passed into web lore). Most keyword densities should reside between 3 to 5 % - any higher and you risk being rejected as a spammer. Some sites will still raise this percentage (greedily) in order to get more hits, but the content can be insufferable to read and will turn off your visitors.
A bit of history now as to why working with very high keyword densities can make it difficult for a site is that some search engines actually blacklist sites with unreasonably high keywords. Google's folks, amongst their many pioneering inventions, started using this technique with their crawlers to filter out spammers above the 5 % threshold. In today's Internet marketing, a savvy copywriter should maintain a nice balance between flow and skilled use of keywords. Many copywriters have started using "secondary" keywords. These, specially placed within the context, increase the number of hits for a page. This technique becomes useful in that the copywriter has more breathing space to work and provide infotainment.
More and more potential customers are getting online to do their own research before any purchase, and websites have become more than just marketing tools. It's your electronic 'showroom' so to speak, and the more well-planned, elegant and informative articles you produce that have the right balance of keyword density, the higher your chance for retaining and even repeating business.

The Deadliest Email List Disease and How to Cure it

"I rarely encourage clients to sell via one-step, because leads; people who've raised their hands can have so much value worked well over time." - Dan Kennedy.
There's an absolute wealth of marketing wisdom in Dan's statement. It's impossible to do justice to all of it in this short space. So lets get into it and give you some important food for thought...
You'll decide to either market to a list, or not. And I know that some marketers just don't want to be bothered with list generation, for a variety of reasons. That's fine. So if you're sitting on the fence about it... just understand that you can be walking away from a LOT of money if you don't have a list.
If you take your business seriously, then you already know the life-time value of your customers. How much revenue the average customer will bring to you over the time they're doing business with you.
Armed with that knowledge, you're able to know exactly how much you can spend to acquire new leads. The smartest marketers know how to break-even to build their lists. And they also know how much that new lead will be worth over time.
Notice how Dan worded his statement...
"...so much value worked well over time."
The key phrase there is, 'worked well.' I'll tell you something. Many businesses flat out do not get it in that area. When their lists either die from attrition, or become unresponsive, it becomes the business kiss of death. And then they wonder what happened.
Simply no excuse for it because it's SO easy to prevent. You just need to know how to do that.
I'm sure many of you know about the Law of Reciprocity. Simply stated, giving someone something... or doing something for another person, will compel them to feel obligated to do something for you. Of course, that 'something' for you is giving you business.
But stop and think about this for a moment...
People online have come to expect the freebie. The free report, white paper, short ebook... whatever, in exchange for contact information and your continued marketing efforts. It has become a standard for doing business online. Unfortunately this expectation has only served to dilute, if not eliminate, the power of reciprocity. And if your freebie is poor, then you can almost forget any compelling feelings to give you something in return. You'll immediately become bland and boring because you'll be lumped in that vague group of online businesses that all look the same. Or worse...
People will label you as a scam, or just someone who wants to make a fast buck. But...
All is certainly not lost... IF you provide good quality information. And you can still harness reciprocity's power in your marketing. How?
By continuing to provide information of high perceived value in your follow-up emails. But do it with a twist and some common sense. Just think about human nature and it'll become clear.
First... spark intrigue. Create some suspense and the desire for more. One way to do that is by NOT revealing everything. Don't give the farm away in your free reports and ebooks. Now this isn't anything new. But I'll tell you something I've seen a lot.
I've seen free reports and ebooks that offered lots of good information. But they failed to create any burning desire. There was no sense of intrigue. No sense of, "I gotta know more about this NOW!"
Let me ask you... when you see a newspaper ad selling whatever, and there's a picture of an attractive woman wearing a bikini... does that picture make you want to buy?
NO! Probably doesn't. You see that so much people become blind to it... for the most part. It has no selling value. Or, for lots of guys maybe it might catch their attention. They might check out the hot girl and then move on.
You can be regarded as a respectful, professional marketer simply by treating your list with respect. That means NOT bombarding with a constant stream of, "You Gotta Check This Out NOW!" Don't beat them up with constant, hard selling.
Keep a continuous rapport with them. Talk to them. Give them substance and good information while sparking an intense desire to know more. Share your self with them and they'll come to think of you as something more than a marketer.
I've been marketing to lists for many years. And I've had subscribers stay with me for almost as long. It's a skill you can learn and develop. And done right, with the right backend offers... you'll take your bottom line to whole new levels.
